It is with sadness that the passing of Jack Morton of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee is shared. Jack, born on March 9, 1932, passed away on May 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Morton and Edna Morton (Springfield); his wife Betty Jean Morton (White) of Cleveland, Tennessee.; his siblings, James Austin Morton, Betty Jean Morton, Sherma Jane Morton and Donald Lamar Morton; and his great grandchild Jane Eilish Preston.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Kay Collins (Glenn) of Ringgold, Lisa Catherine Kline (Chris) of Soddy-Daisy, Marnie Lynn Kuhns (David) of Ringgold and Thad Sherman Morton (Gina) of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.The family wishes to express their gratitude to the caregivers, friends, and hospice staff who provided compassionate care during Jack's final days.
