He was predeceased by: his puppy-love Emmett; his uncles, Eddie Sherrill and Melvin Petty (Sue); his grandparents, Elizabeth Neal Petty, Montague Petty, Sherman Edward Sherrill and Pearl Hazel Eller Sherrill; and also John Burton Sherrill.
He is survived by: his mother Anita Sherrill Brown (Sherley); his sons, John Wesley Sherrill (Autumn) and Ethan Gage Sherrill (Larkin); his sister Ellen Sherrill Ferrell (Jason); his nephews, Justin Ferrell (Gabbie), Noah Ferrell and Nathan Ferrell; his uncle Ricky Sherrill; his aunt Connie Sherrill; and his cousins, Shannon Shaver (Jeff), Traci Petty, Michelle Hamby (Randy) and Terry Cramer (Kristie).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
