It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo James Klaes (Soddy Daisy, Tennessee), who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leo James Klaes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Klaes and Philomena Klaes; and his brothers, Frank and Jerry Klaes. He is survived by : his child O. D.; his significant other Jean; his children, Theresa Tiner (Gary) of Soddy Daisy, TN, Kathleen Penner of Waxhaw, NC, Leo Klaes (Jenny Keily) of Austin, TX, David Klaes (Michelle) of Lebanon, TN and Christine White (Sam) of Waxhaw, NC.; and his sisters, Polly Wagner (Frank) of Chesapeake, VA and Mary Ann Bodary (Alden) of New Boston, MI.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leo's honor to Holy Spirit Catholic Church Soddy Daisy.
