He was predeceased by : his parents, Estelle Ryan Orr and William W. Orr; and his siblings, June Carroll (Bill), Fred Orr (Jodie), Bill Orr (Cassie), Herbert Orr (Lucille), Dr. Jack T. Orr (Annie) and Dr. Rex Orr (Betty).

He is survived by : his wife Bobbie Keith Orr; his daughter Sherrill; his son-in-law James Card; his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Katherine Card; and his cousins, Carolyn, Connie and Tom Howard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
