She was predeceased by: her husband Bennie Matthew Cowan; and her son Alvin Leon Cowan. She is survived by: her children, Mary L., Linda C, Benny J. (Angela) of Soddy Daisy, TN and David E. Cowan of Soddy Daisy, TN; and her sister-in-law Ann Johnson of New York. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
