She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Skiles and Versa Hendon Skiles; her grandparents, Becky, Tom Hendon, Jim and Ella Skiles; the father of her children J. D. Smith; her children, David Eugene Smith, Phyllis Hindman and Rachel Louise Smith; her granddaughter Amanda Roysdon; and her son-in-law Randall Roysdon.
She is survived by: her children, Patrica Roysdon and James L. Smith; her sister Sue Nichols; and her granddaughter Stephanie Branan. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
