He was predeceased by : his former life partner Carolyn Hickman Micale; his parents, Anthony J. Micale, Sr. and Madalyn Micale; his brother Anthony J. Micale, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Micale and Robert Meserve.

He is survived by : his wife Roberta Lynn Micale; his son Paul Micale II (Terri) of Florence; his stepsons, Michael Layne of Boston, Tim Layne (Lauren) of Everette and Steven Layne (Ashley) of Lyles, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Zachery Micale, Jazmine Layne, Alex Layne, Allie Layne and Desmond Layne. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
