He was predeceased by: his son David W. Peters Jr.; his parents, Yvonne Short and Ralph D. Eaves Jr.; his grandparents, Frank Short, Hilda Meeks Short, Ralph D Eaves and Edith Haley Eaves; and his sister Hilda Eaves.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Carden-Eaves; his children, Alesha Westphal and Bryan L. Yother (Tonya Totherow-Yother); his grandchildren, Alexis, Jordan, Blaine, Layla, Braedyn, Bryce and Baylen; and his brothers, Billy Eaves (Kathy) and John Eaves (Jessica).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the Millsaps Cemetery.
