He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel M. McGarrity and Vera Jayne McGarrity. He is survived by: his wife Linda McRae McGarrity; his sons, Andy (Teresa McGarrity), Cory (Aimee McGarrity) and Jody McGarrity of Hixson, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Justin McGarrity, Dakota McGarrity, Cole McGarrity and Everly McGarrity; his great grandchildren, Mason McGarrity and Emma McGarrity; and his siblings, Pat Conger of Soddy Daisy and Sam McGarrity of Hixson. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
