He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Martin and Juanita Smith Martin; and his siblings, Louis, Dexter, Lavelle Martin and Virginia Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Norrissa Martin of Dayton, TN, Misty Routt of Dayton, TN, Margo Martin of Dayton, TN and Serlena Martin of Hixson, TN; his siblings, Aundra Moore of Bakewell, TN, Annie Toney (Ivan) of Bakewell, TN, Vera Dillard (Gary) of Chattanooga, TN and Darryl Martin of Hixson, TN; his grandchildren, Zain Martin and Emani Routt; and the mother of his children Moya Martin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
