He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Potter and Anna Ruth McRee; his stepfather James E. McRee; his half-brothers, Micheal Potter and Ricky Potter; his stepbrother Joe McRee; and his half-sister Joyce A. Pharr.
He is survived by: his family, Steve Potter (Beverly), Randall Potter (Tammy), Elliott McRee (Tabitha) and Tammy Goins (Tim); and his half-sisters, Drucilla Connelly and Pam Lopez. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
