He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Patterson (Tina), Wayne Patterson and Tonya Patterson; his son-in-law Delbert Frederick; his great grandchildren, Travis Ashley, Shevy, Chayton Patterson, Kody Patterson, Kaleb Patterson, Korbin Patterson, Kailyn Patterson and Kegan (Savanna); and his siblings, Judy Patterson, Pansy Thacker and Teddy Patterson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
