He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Mary Haymaker (Philip), Amanda Kirby (Joshua) and Tom Thomas (Gwyne Morrison); his grandchildren, Gauge, Elias and Crimson Kirby; his sisters, Jeanie Westerman (Kevin) and Susan Young; and his niece Angela Murray.
In lieu of flowers, Tom's family asks that donations be made to the Soddy-Daisy Fire Department, Orange Grove Center, or the Chattanooga Kidney Foundation.
