He was predeceased by: his daughter Carolyn; his parents, Howard and Ida; and his siblings, Lucille Steele, Dot Berhime, Opal Anderson and Harold.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannie; his children, Marlene Brooks, Shawnee Ward (Rick) and Brian Wheaton (Kim); and his brother Bill "Shorty" (Suzette). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
