She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Steele Rice, Sr.; and her parents, William R. Nelson and Ethel Morgan Nelson. She is survived by: her sons, Cecil S. Rice, Jr., Preston Rice (Michelle) and Adam Wayne Rice; her brother Danny Nelson (Ruthie); her granddaughters, Shawna Herpy (Josh), Alysha Rice (Michael Taylor), Jenna Smith (Austin) and Beth Hodge; and her great grandchildren, Tinsley Herpy, Timber Herpy, Lyla Smith, Jeremiah Smith and Bella Hodge. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
