He was predeceased by : his parents, Leroy Haliton and Alberta Stinson Haliton. He is survived by : his wife Maria Rankin Haliton; his children, Walter Haliton-Wilkerson, Keith Haliton-Wilkerson (Jamie) and Karmesha Sligh; his siblings, Rose Arnwine (Wayman) and Alvin Neal Haliton; and his aunts, Irane Jordan and Francis Mason. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
