He was predeceased by: his father Gayle E. Bowersock; and his grandson Jack Steven Bowersock. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Turner Bowersock; his mother Margaret "Peg" Bowersock; his siblings, Deb Klippel, Mike Bowersock (Roberta), Doug Bowersock (Tracy) and Brenda Compston (Rex); the mother of his children Roxanne Jackson; his children, Michael Bowersock (Mae), Steven Bowersock (Stephanie) and Julie Callahan (Bryan); his grandchildren, Katie, Joshua, Cody, Carson, Starr, Mia, Grace, Alayna and Alli; his stepdaughter Becca Melton; and his stepgrandson Garrett Maxwell.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Rossville Baptist Church building fund would be appreciated.
