He is survived by: his wife Donna Cates Futrell; his children, Sherron Futrell and Kerry David Futrell; his stepchildren, Dylan High and Amanda Benner (Mark); his sisters, Rita (Orrin Amsden) and Linda Hendon; his stepgrandson Zach Benner; and his pets, Miss Priss, Luna Blu and Charlie Brown.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel (10670 US-64, Somerville, TN 38068). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
