It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Treadway Parks of Somerville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Newell Treadway and Mable Lucille Henley Treadway; and her siblings, Shirley Denby, Yvonne Calhoun and Fred Treadway.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Parks of Somerville, Connie Ferge of Somerville, Dwain Parks of Somerville and Carl M. Parks of Somerville; and her sister Frances Gabbard of Walnut, MS.. She is also survived by the nine grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to Parks Chapel Methodist Church or Cemetery.
