She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Mitchell and Elizabeth Hazel; her significant other Albert J. T. Thompson; and her grandson Steven Lynn Davis. She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Williams, Mary Davis, Billie Michelle Watkins, Elizabeth Thompson, Leslie Barker and Charles "Chuck" Barker; and her great great grandchild Jocelynn Hazel. She is also survived by seventeen brothers and sisters; and a host of beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel (18020 US-64, Somerville, TN 38068). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at the Mt. Olive Cemetery (9585 Jernigan Dr, Somerville, TN 38068).
