She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Monroe Hamlin and Esther Mae Harrison Hamlin; her husband Glenn Morris Byrd; and her siblings, Johnny, Arvell, James, Charlie Hamlin, Ruth Caksackkar and Mary Jo Duke.
She is survived by: her sons, Terrell Glynn Byrd of Clinton, KY and Gary Lynn Byrd (Angie) of Martin, TN; and her grandchildren, Carolyn Jean Byrd Bass of Paris, TN, Christopher Terrell Byrd of Marion, IL, Ryan Byrd of Medina, TN, Ashley Baker of White House, TN and Garrett Byrd of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Funeral Chapel. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the Peasant View Memorial Gardens.
