We announce the death of Robert Dilday of South Fulton, Tennessee, who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 76. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Zola Mai Dilday (Dildine); his daughter Cynthia Dilday; and his brothers, Jimmy Dilday and Larry Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dilday (Goodwin) of South Fulton; his daughters, Crystal Perry (Steve), Cathy Newton (Jason) of South Fulton and Connie Hoffman (Matt) of Union City; his grandchildren, Robert Cox, William Cox (Malinda), Abby Cox, Emily Cox, Kendall Etherton (Ken), Colt Newton (Katie), Caitlyn Hoffman and Chance Hoffman; his great grandchildren, Caroline Etherton, Meleah Cox and Lillian Cox; and his siblings, Rev. Jack Dilday (Lisa), Doris Childress, Betty Greer, Barbara Harrison, Phyllis Rook, Dolly Austin and Marlene Sims. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
