He is survived by: his in-laws, Gerald and Mattie Powell; his daughter Lori Atterberry (Bruce) of Fulton, Kentucky; his granddaughters, Jessica Anderson (Blake) of Troy, Erika Scott (Michael) of Wiscasset and Brianna Stairs of Fulton, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Karlee Argo, Maddi Kaye Anderson and Bowden Scott; Joyce King Jones of McConnell.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel (302 Carr St, Fulton, KY 42041). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Obion County Memorial Gardens (3939 Ken Tenn Hwy, Union City, TN 38261).
