It is with sadness that the passing of Carrye Margaret Hudson Lawrence (South Pittsburg, Tennessee) is shared. Carrye, born on August 9, 1935, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Lawrence, Sr.; her parents, Johnie Hudson (Nina Hudson) and Nina Hudson; her brothers, Junior Hudson and Dr. Calvin Hudson; her daughters, Mary Lawrence Durham and Julie Lawrence Schaefer; and her close friend Rose Castle.
She is survived by: her son Bill Lawrence Jr. (Christy); her brother Ronnie Hudson (Charlene); her sons-in-law, Randy Durham and Milton Schaefer; her grandchildren, Molly Schaefer Still (McLain), Jodi Lawrence, Sarah Durham Albert (Chris) and Pledger Schaefer; and her great grandchildren, Liam Still, Rainey Still, Felix Still and Jaxon Albert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home (400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, TN 37380). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
