He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Hobbs; his children, Tommy Hobbs (Jennie) of Sevierville, TN, George Stephens, Jr., Jan Stephens and Susan Guess (David) of South Pittsburg, TN; his siblings, Edna Johnston and Bobby Hobbs of Chattanooga, TN.; his grandchildren, Tyler Hobbs (Courtney) of Raven Hobbs, B. J., Andrew Rogers, Bailey Motes (Chris), Makenzie Stephens, Trent Guess, Presley Guess, Jessica Stinnett (Kevin), Percious Cochren (Brian), Gavin Liechty and Garrett Liechty; and his great grandchildren, Mikala Hobbs, Kaleb Hobbs, Abby Rogers, Winter Motes, Ensley Reitenbaugh, Ellie Reitenbaugh, Noah Owenby, Tyson Williams and Grayson Bufkin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home South Pittsburg Chapel (400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, TN 37380). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
