John Edward Campbell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Edward Campbell of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father J. C. Campbell. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Talley; his mother Lois Smart; his children, Collis Campbell (Tashia), Shasta Murray (Justin) and Sadie Talley; and his siblings, Della Brody, Opal King, Roxanne Barks, Nadine King and Mark Campbell. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
