She was predeceased by: her husband Jere N. Davis; and her father David Blake Braden. She is survived by: her daughter Denise Davis Leach; her grandchildren, Tracy Blevins (Paul) of South Pittsburg, TN, Jarrod Cardin (Jennifer) of Jasper, TN, Davis Leach of Nashville, TN and Griffin Leach of Nashville, TN; her great grandchildren, Drake Cardin, Macey Cardin and Braden Cardin; her niece Betty Anne Hargis (Rusty); and her nephew Gary Lewis (Lori). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital for Children, a cause close to Kate's heart.
