She was predeceased by: her husband John Lee Higdon; her parents, Marion Grady and Rosa Adeline Sims Huckabee; her siblings, Houston Huckabee, Harold Huckabee, Riley Huckabee, Jerry Huckabee, Merle Dean Huckabee, Thomas Richard Huckabee, Joseph Wayne Huckabee, Willie Blevins and Mildred Jean Huckabee; and her pet Baby.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Higdon, Marilyn Howard (Raymond) and Patty Johnson (David); her grandchildren, Brooke Fontenette (Kevin), Taylor Johnson (Madeline) and Chandler Johnson (Peyton); her great grandchildren, Avery Fontenette, Mary-Alden Fontenette, Oliver Johnson and Eleanor Johnson; her grandsons, Gordon Farmer and Noah Bone; and her sister Nelda Whited (Sam).
