She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hogwood and Della Roberson Hogwood; her husband Tarrell Hammons; her daughter Penny Hammons Reeves; and her siblings, Charles Hogwood, Leatha Hogwood Newt, Laura Mae Holland Hibbs, Thelma Virginia Higgins, Daisy Lea Rogers and Mary Etta Murray.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Chase Reeves (Danielle) of South Pittsburg and Matthew Reeves of Olympia, Washington; her great grandchild Morris Reeves of Olympia, Washington; and her son-in-law Jeffery Reeves. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens (3076 Main St, Jasper, TN 37347).
