She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther and Irene Kirby; her husband J. T. Gracey; her daughter Kelly Cope; and her cousin Frank Grooms of Washington, NC.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brandon Cope (Jesse) of Sparta, TN and Kara Haney of Sanford, FL; her great grandchildren, Blakelyn Cope of Sparta, TN, Whitley Phillips of Sparta, TN and Ira Cope of Sparta, TN; and her sister-in-law Melanie Grooms of Washington, NC.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Funeral Home (1786 Smithville Hwy, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
