She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Vinson and Ova Steele Vinson; and her husbands, Billy Joe Goodwin and Doug Barrett. She is survived by: her son Chris Goodwin of Sparta; her grandchildren, T. J. Goodwin (Maddie), Tyler Goodwin, Cora Chester and Tiffany McKee (Shane); her great grandchildren, Elijah, Wyatt McKee and Amelia Nicole Goodwin; her siblings, Evelyn Exum of Sparta and Jerry Vinson (Wanda) of Tullahoma; her niece Barbara; and her caregivers, Linda Chapman and Karen Sparks.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peeled Chestnut Cemetery (788 Peeled Chestnut Ln, Sparta, TN 38583).
