With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Boruff of Sparta, Tennessee, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Nora Raby Boruff, Sr.; his son Richmond Boruff; and his siblings, Bobby Boruff and Betty Helton.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Boruff; his grandchildren, River Boruff, Ocean Edwards, Jenna Herring and Christopher Boruff; his half-sister Jean Potter; his sister-in-law Donna "Wasper" Lee (Jeff); his nephews, Rodney Boruff (Missy) and Johnathan Demps (Jerrica); and his great-nephews, Gavin Boruff (Sierra), Jarrett Lake Demps and Jay Creek Demps.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bear Cove Baptist Church (1590 Country Club Rd, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (1595 Smithville Hwy, Sparta, TN 38583).
