It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christy Guire Stevens of Sparta, Tennessee, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Guire and Robbie Sue Sweeton Rains; and her husband Bruce Stevens. She is survived by: her daughters, Tiffany Raye McCoig of Cookeville, TN and Chasidy Sue Hash of McMinnville; her grandchildren, Kaylan Raye McCoig, Kaylee Jade Hash and Lottie Sue Hash; her siblings, Michael Rains, Robbin Jennings and Lynn Rains; and her nieces and nephews, Michelle Jeanette Rains, Ashley Danielle Rains, Thomas Hunter Lynn Rains, Jedidiah Logan Rains, Keenan Ty Rains and Anthony Lynn Rains, Jr..
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the High's Chapel (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
