It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Wilson of Sparta, Tennessee, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haskel and Golda Lee Key Wilson; his son Jonathan Spakes; his siblings, Doris Caton and David Wilson; and the mother of his children Brenda Fish Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Copeland Wilson; and his children, Ann Wilson Ake (Chris), Karen Buchanan (Steven) and Joshua Spakes.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583).
