She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Eugene Duncan; her parents, James Niswander and Martha Alice Niswander; her parents-in-law, Joe and Mattie Bell Morgan Duncan; and her siblings, James Niswander Jr., Alton Niswander, Clara Payne, Flora Lazarus and Mary Sue Niswander.

She is survived by: her sons, Joe Duncan (Charlotte) of Sparta, TN and Lamar Duncan (Sherry) of Dalton, GA.; and her grandchildren, Jordan Duncan (Yoko), Eli Duncan, Melissa Fields (Jamie), Jessica Marshall (James) and Carla Lamb (Joe).
