She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Escol Hale and Sophia Jane Dodson Hale; her sister Ruby Lee Hale; her husband Willard Lincoln Hayes; and her sons-in-law, Rudolph Miller, Rex Rader and Joe Honaker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Miller of Hickory Valley, Jean Rader of Hixson, Geneva Hayes of Sparta and Sharon Simmons of Spencer; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Halstead (Lisa), Bruce Fike (Theresa), Denise Qualls, Robert Honaker (Debbie), Erin Hutchings (Wesley), Melissa Rader, Brian Miller, Michael Honaker (Kristi), Katherine Garland (Chad) and Daniel Honaker (Paige).
