George Meadows Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, at the age of 81, George Meadows of Sparta, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact George had on those he encountered along his journey. Though George may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Lee and Alice Irene Strickland Meadows; and his siblings, Billy Meadows, Ronnie, Lonnie Meadows, Jerry Meadows, Evelyn McQuestion, Tom Meadows, Ann Phillips and Judy Faye Bumbalough.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Hastings and Tim Meadows. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
