He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Gaines and Alberta Mayes Swindell; his wife Gail Rice Swindell; and his son Jeffrey Thomas Swindell. He is survived by: his daughter Judy Swindell Verble (William) of Cookeville; his grandchildren, Brandon Swindell (Kelley) and Brandi Baldridge (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Owen Swindell and Scarlett Baldridge.
