She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hoyd Marsh and Mary Daisy Marsh (Brown); her husband Lester Benton Brown; her daughter Vernetta Lewis; her grandchildren, Michael Coon and Susan Jordan; her great grandchild Tristan Yearwood; and her siblings, Ray Marsh, Robert Marsh, Stanton Marsh, Delbert Marsh, Sam Marsh, Naomi Marsh, Maggie Lewis, Muriel Rector and Katie Rector.
She is survived by: her children, Glenna Dodson, Tina Cordell (Jimmy Walker), Margaret Davis (James), Christine Lawson (Robert), Thomas Coon (Vickie) and Glenn Coon (Carla); her sons-in-law, Brian Young and Lee Cordell; and her siblings, Albert Marsh, J. T. Marsh, Jody Marshall, Darrel Marsh, Faye Lewis, Shirley Jones, Mabel Ashburn, Janie Honeycutt and Jewell Kilby. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren.
