He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Daniels and Lavena Jones Daniels. He is survived by: his wife Patty Daniels of Sparta; his son Shannon Dale Daniels of Sparta; his brother-in-law Randall Terry of Sparta; and his nieces, Cristal Terry and Nicola Holley. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and several cousins and orher family members.
