We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, at the age of 79, Howard Hawkins of Sparta, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Arlie and Vallie Belle Barlow Hawkins; and his brother Lee Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Janie Lewis Hawkins; his sons, Steve Hawkins (Sonia) and Greg Hawkins (Danyelle); his grandchildren, Logan Johnson (Alex), Hannah Randolph (Hunter), Dustin Hawkins (Allison Dockery), Brayden Hawkins (Gianna) and Brynn Hawkins; and his sister Janice Greer (Tom). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Monroe Carrell's Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
