She was predeceased by : her parents, Kermit William and Delma Lee Ford Dodson; her husband Everette Broom; her daughter Teresa Everlene; her son-in-law Terry Selby; and her sisters, Dorothy Jean and Mary Alice Dodson.

She is survived by : her grandsons, Trent Selby (Brittany) of Sparta and Tyler Selby (Amanda) of Sparta; her great grandchildren, Tanner Selby and Kaden Selby; her siblings, James Dodson (Jewel) of Alcoa, TN. and Evelyn Mynatt of Knoxville, TN.; and her nephews, Brian Hodges (Kelly) and David Hodges (Dina).
