He was predeceased by: his parents, Artie Bennett and Pauline Bennett (Holman); his children, Matthew Todd Bennett and Allison Jill Bennett; his brother Vernon Bennett; his brother-in-law Dane Sorrell; and his parents-in-law, Jannetta Bandy and Otis Gaines "Cy" Bandy.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Bennett; his daughter Courtney Barker (Travis); his sisters, Jannette Denton (Tommy) and Hilda Sorrell; his grandchildren, Austin Hanna, Ashlyn Hanna, Kendall Barker, Bradley Barker and Brittney Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Bandy (Peggy) and Debbie Morgan Vickie (Gary).
