He is survived by: his son Jim Oaks (Brenda) of Sparta, TN; his grandchildren, Tyler Oaks (Logan) of Sparta, TN, Derrick Dale (Jenny) of Sparta, TN., Ann Marie Folmar (Kevin) of Jupiter, FL, Jessica Gibson of Sparta, TN and Brooke Nunn (Kevin) of Cookeville, TN; his great grandchild Blake; his siblings, Georgia Oaks Jett and Richard Oaks (Vicky) of Jackson, KY.; and his close friends, Alberta, Lester Hicky, Leann, Jim Bo Haley, George Carroll and Danny Luna.
