James Sims Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sims (Sparta, Tennessee), who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jean Ann Chambers (Bobby), Rubye Todd and Glenn Sims; and his sister-in-law Kim Sims (Shirley Kittle). He is survived by: his parents, Tom Frank and Emogene Sims; his wife Margaret Alfreida "Freida" Sims; his son Terry Sims (Crystal); his stepsons, Grover Lee Wilson (Kristen Bailey), Steven Wilson (Brenda) and Phillip Wilson (Tina); his brother Tommy Sims; his brother-in-law John Todd; and his grandchildren, Lauren Sims, Bethany Bogle, Kierstin Sims, Will Wilson, Tad Wilson (Jocelyn), Molly Wilson, Megan Wilson, McKena Young and Madox Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
