He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James Edward and Yvonne Clair Dickson Guth. He is survived by: his wife Judy Guth; his children, James Guth (Kelcey) and Stephanie Guth Eubanks (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Grant Guth and Everly Guth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Sparta First United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
