He is survived by: his children, Melissa Selby (Lanny) of Sparta, Rudiger Duval (Beth) of New Hampshire, Shaun Young (Bela) of Virginia and Murphy Welch (Audrey) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Leigh Smith (Brandie) of Dunlap, TN., Holly Wharton (Drew), Erik Young, Tanner Duval, Wyatt Duval, Grayson Duval, Clay Welch and Sammy Welch; his great grandchild Finley Wharton; his siblings, Justin Young and Hilda Cantrell; and his sister-in-law Reba Young.
