She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Shoemaker and Doris Bass Shoemaker; her son Keith Smith; her great grandchild Leslie Cayce; and her brother Wayne Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert Leslie Smith of Sparta, TN; her children, Jack Smith (Suzette) of Sparta, TN, Jill McCulley (Bryan) of Sparta, TN and Kay Sims (Mike) of Sparta, TN.; her grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Ryan McCulley, Rachael Whittenburg, Jennifer Campos, Aubrey Rice and Siera Griffin; and her great grandchildren, Molly Whittenburg, Natalie Whittenburg, Jamison Smith, Declan Griffin, Adler Griffin, Charleston Rice and Callaway Rice.
