She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Beecher Cummings (1914-2008) and Lola Cummings (1919-1967), and her step-mother, Johnnie Bell Cummings, all of Bon Air; her spouse Jere Wilson; her children, Rebecca Newport (Brian), Mark Wilson and Regina McCowan (Mike); her grandchildren, Lindsey Howard, Joshua Davis, Tennille McCowan (Michael), Caleb McCowan (Destiny), Devan Jackson, Leanna Crook (Michael) and Marcus McCowan; her great grandchildren, Aurora Scott and Mason Crook; and her parents-in-law, Solon of Bon Air and Nancy Wilson of Bon Air.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Martha Washington Cemetery in Clarkrange Tennessee.
