He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Smith and Dovie Stephens Smith; and his wife Brenda Smith. He is survived by: his children, Belinda Jean Brown of Sparta and Shannon Smith of Sparta; his granddaughters, Charlene Brown (Jason Spivey) of Sparta, Arlene Brown (Kim) of Sparta and Eva Marie Smith of Sparta; his great grandchild Kalen Spivey of Sparta; and his siblings, Doyle Smith (Shelia) of Clarkrange, TN and Edith Woodard (Mike) of Texas.
